If the construction site with soft ground, square timbers and support plate can be placed under the outriggers to increase the contact area between the outriggers and the ground, which can effectively prevent the above problems.


When driving on narrow roads, the driver should be with a low speed to avoid rollover.

Also The boom needs to change its posture every day, and the center of gravity of the whole vehicle varies with the boom posture. This is easily cause to truck rollover.

There are many casualties caused by the boom contacting the high-voltage power line every year. To avoid this problem, it is still necessary for the concrete pump operator to observe the safety operation procedures.


As the concrete pump truck needs to raise the placing boom during the placing operation, the boom is easy to get close to the high-voltage wire near the construction site, resulting in an electric shock accident.


The pumping operation shall be far away from high-voltage lines, high-voltage line towers, transformers and other high-voltage and low-voltage power equipment as far as possible.

Summer is the season most likely to cause the pump truck to catch fire. It is not only the high temperature of the external environment, and the high temperature generated by the concrete pump itself, but also the ignition of some electrical circuits.


Tips for preventing the concrete pump from self-fire


During summer construction, the pump truck shall be equipped with professional on-board fire extinguishers to deal with some emergencies at any time.


Keep the concrete pump truck clean and tidy. There are several kinds of oils on the pump truck, including diesel, hydraulic oil, grease and other gear oil. In case of fire, these oils are the booster. Therefore, the daily concrete pump maintenance needs to immediately clean up these greasy dirt, eliminate the fire source.


Privately connected circuit is common phenomenon. Generally, the circuit is privately connected from the chassis battery, and the nonstandard wire specification is adopted, which leads to the heating of the circuit when using electricity and causes the fire.


How to deal with a fire? First of all, give an immediate alarm. If the fire in a small area, can use fire extinguishers to put out the fire. Without fire extinguishers can use sand, stone, soil, etc. If the fire is too large, do not put out the fire privately. It is better to wait for professional firefighters.

Concrete Pumping Boom Placer Accidents


There are different reasons for the concrete pumping truck boom accidents, including the quality problem of the equipment boom, and the wrong operation which caused the boom to collide with other objects, resulting in the fracture of the boom.


In rainy days, due to the erosion of rainwater and hydrogen sulfide in the air, the pump truck is easy to cause oxidation corrosion, and then the concrete pumping boom bearing strength will be decreases.


In most cases, the operator's improper operation causes the boom to collide with other objects, and finally causes the boom to break. Therefore, for construction in a narrow space, do not operate the boom in a large scale. The remote control operating handle should be pushed and released slowly to make the boom move slowly.


If the boom load exceeds its designed maximum value, it is easy to cause the boom to break in a long time. Never use the concrete pump truck boom pipe as a lifting arm to lift heavy objects.


If the remote controller fails, do not push the operating handle back and forth to avoid the boom operation accident caused by temporary operation failure.

Concrete Pumping Traffic Accidents


The concrete pumping truck is a heavy equipment vehicle. The chassis should also be inspected and maintained more, including the wear of tires, the sensitivity of the brake system, etc. At the same time, the concrete pumping truck has many blind spots when driving, which also requires the driver to flexibly deal with various emergencies.
